101 James Street will be the home of Dian Mitchell and her 3 sons, 21 year old Nickolas, 14 year old Paedian and 11 year old Jeremy. Working with the volunteers on build sites as part of her 500 sweat equity hours has deepened Dian’s resolve and appreciation for the teamwork involved in building all the Habitat CFC houses.
As a neighbor to the Mitchell family in the house next door, Pierre and his wife Yvonne Lufuluabo, along with their family Mangabu (22), Miandabu (19), Musau (14) and Muya (12) will reside at 103 James Street. The Mbay-Lufuluabo family are excited to be a part of Habitat and to “save for college and other expenses and finally own our own home.”
On June 27, 2015 Habitat CFC and the families celebrated their house dedications. Finishing touches are being completed on the house and the the families plan to move in soon.
