30th Anniversary Celebration- Saturday, May 2nd! Live Auction Pre-Bids Open!

Join Habitat CFC as we celebrate 30 years of building communities and improving lives by eliminating substandard housing and creating homeownership possibilities for motivated, hardworking, low-income families. Since 1985, we have built 189 homes for over 849 family members in our region. While we have completed projects in Stamford and Stratford, we’re making the biggest difference in Bridgeport. By the end of 2015, we will have completed our 200th home.

Our Gala will be held at the Wee Burn Beach Club in Rowayton from 6:30 – 11:00pm. Enjoy the cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the Long Island Sound, followed by dinner, live auction and dancing. The night will also include the presentation of the 30th Anniversary Gala Honoree Award to the MBIA Foundation for their

leadership and longstanding commitment to making Fairfield County a better place for all families and the Second Mile Award will be presented to an individual who has gone the ‘second mile’ for Habitat CFC.

Please join us for this very special evening as we celebrate our past and look forward to the future. The need for affordable housing in Fairfield County continues to grow, and we are positioned to meet this need with your continued support for the next 30 years.

If you have not yet registered, a limited amount of tickets are still available for this celebratory evening, please visit the following link  or call (203) 333-2642. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation in honor of this milestone using the link above.

National Women Build Week- Volunteers Needed and Women Build Construction Clinics

We need your help, please volunteer:

Volunteers are invited to help address the need for affordable housing throughout the community during Habitat for Humanity’s eighth annual National Women Build Week. Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (Habitat CFC) is one of more than 300 Habitat affiliates nationwide hosting Women Build projects with support from Lowe’s, Habitat’s longtime partner in the event.

On May 6 and May 8, local volunteers will help build a home for a hard-working single mother of 2 here in Bridgeport. Lowe’s and Habitat invite men and women in the area to help make the dream of homeownership a reality for a family in Bridgeport – no construction skills are necessary.

To volunteer or donate to this project, call Stefany Raulukaitis at (203) 333-2642 ext. 117 or email vista@habitatcfc.org. For more information on National Women Build Week, visit Habitat.org/wb.

Join us for this year’s how-to-clinics:

Lowe’s helped launch National Women Build Week in 2008, and each year provides the support of Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers and conducts how-to clinics at stores to teach volunteers construction skills. Upcoming National Women Build Week Clinics:
