Youth United is a program focused on giving youth from different backgrounds, faiths and organizations the opportunity to work together to sponsor and build a house with Habitat CFC.

What Is Youth United All About?

The goal of Youth United is to target groups of young, enthusiastic volunteers to build homes, develop leadership skills, engage in positive service activities and experience the joy of helping others.  This program gives young people the opportunity to invest directly in their communities and in community service.

Habitat CFC provides age appropriate activities to our community’s youth, ages 5-22, to get involved in our mission to provide decent, affordable homes for families in Fairfield County.

How to Get Involved

Youth United holds  meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. The meetings are held at the Habitat Office at 1542 Barnum Ave, Bridgeport. Interested youth and adults are welcome to attend.

To attend our next meeting or learn more on how to get involved, please contact Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County at (203)333-2642 or Phyllis Machledt at pmachledt@gmail.com.
