Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Becomes A Home
The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was milled and turned into lumber for use in Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County's new build in Stamford. Pictured above is future Stamford homeowner Iveth Bowie and her daughter, Sarah. The event was featured on the Today Show on January 8th. |

Youth United Hoops For Habitat We are having our first ever sporting event on March 27th. A Basketball Scoring Competition. So start practicing those three point and field goal shots. There will be prizes and refreshments Details.
Women Build Going Strong

Local Lutheran congregations and friends have joined together to sponsor
a unit at our William Street site.
Sound Coalition Green Build We completed our first "Green Build" in November 2008, featuring a home with solar panels and many more energy-saving features. Our thanks to the Sound Coalition for partnering in this great project. The project is located on 387 Helen Street and is the Sound Coalition's 14th home. We also wish to thank Ron French, whose company, Solar works, and manufacturer, Solar Power, generously donated the solar panels that will save the family energy costs for years to come. MORE PHOTOS
