Sound Coalition

The Sound Coalition is comprised of four Congregational (United Church of Christ) churches in the Greater Bridgeport area that build houses in cooperation with Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County.

The Sound Coalition consists of the following four churches:

• Wilton Congregational Church
• Greenfield Hill Congregational Church
• First Congregational Church – Fairfield
• Monroe Congregational Church

How Does the Sound Coalition Work?

Each church seeks volunteers from their congregation. During the house raising Blitz Build week, volunteers come out during the week to lift the walls into place, put the floor joists in, and put the roof on.

After the blitz week, each congregation works one Saturday a month until the house is complete.
